The Brief
SOCIAL MEDIA CONTENT : CREATING A MOTION GRAPHIC FOR A HOLIDAY AD
Task: Designing a motion design that can be used across all Shahla's social media accounts.
TOOLS: Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Aftereffects
The Process
This motion design I did at my internship with Shahla Karimi. This project was created to be content from her social media platforms [instagram,shopify,pinterest,etc], emailers and blog. To create this, I utilized Adobe Photoshop to edit the jewelry photos before compositing them in Adobe After Effects where I used parallaxing technique to create depth and some other after effect techniques. I also did a product shot at the end to show the consumer the jewelry clearly. In terms of art direction for the project, I pulled my inspiration from the crystal kaleidoscope I would use when I was younger. I thought this concept would be elegant, while still being youthful enough to please all of Shahla's demographic.
